What Can I Expect on My First Visit?
During your first visit to Martin Dental & Associates, your hygienist will discuss your diet and oral health history, take x-rays of your teeth, and perform an examination to get an idea of your oral health. If circumstances allow, your hygienist will be able to complete your customized dental cleaning that day.
After your customized dental cleaning, Dr. Martin will provide a comprehensive oral exam. During this, he might fill cavities that were found and recommend a fluoride treatment.
While twice a year cleanings are important, it's essential to do at-home care to supplement these cleanings, ward off cavities, and limit buildup. During your first visit with your hygienist, they'll give you personalized advice for at-home routine and answer any questions or concerns that you might have.
